Benylin Children’s Night Coughs provides effective relief from children’s cough and congestion. It also helps relieve runny nose and sneezing associated with hayfever and other allergies.

Suitable for
Children between 6-12 years of age
Age Restriction
You must be at least 16 years old to purchase this product.
How to use
Please read the enclosed leaflet carefully before use.
For oral use only.
Children 6 to 12 years: Two 5ml spoonfuls every 6 hours.
Not suitable for children under 6 years.
Do not use more than 4 doses in 24 hours.
Do not use for more than 5 days without the advice of a doctor. Do not use to sedate a child.
As with all medicines, if your child is currently taking any other medicine, consult your doctor or pharmacist before this product is taken.
Do not give with any other cough and cold medicine.
Diabetics: this product contains sorbitol (carbohydrate content approximately 1.78g per 5ml).
Advice for older children and adults: If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine. Please consult your doctor or pharmacist if symptoms persist or worsen.
Storage
Store below 30ºC.

Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride, Levomenthol.
Ingredients
Active Ingredients: Each 5ml of cough syrup contains Multiple Active Ingredients: Diphenhydramine hydrochloride 7 mg, Levomenthol 0.55mg.
Also contains: Sorbitol solution (E420), Ethanol 5%. (See leaflet).
Sodium content: 16.47 mg/5ml.

How to use

For oral administration and short-term use only.
Adults, the elderly and children aged 12 years and over: Swallow 2 tablets with water every 8 hours. Do not chew the tablets. Leave at least 4 hours between doses. Do not take more than 6 tablets in any 24 hours.
Do not give to children under 12 years of age.
If symptoms persist or worsen, if new symptoms occur, or if the product is required for more than 10 days, consult your doctor.
Hazards and Cautions
Do not take more medicine than the label tells you to.
Do not take if you:

- Have ever had a stomach ulcer, perforation or bleeding
- Are allergic to ibuprofen (or anything else in this medicine), aspirin or other related painkillers
- Are taking other NSAID painkillers, or aspirin with a daily dose above 75mg
- Are in the last 3 months of pregnancy
- Have an overactive thyroid
- Are taking or have taken MAOI’s (antidepressants) within 14 days.
Speak to a pharmacist/doctor before taking if you:

- Have asthma, diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, had a stroke, liver, heart, kidney or bowel problems
- Are a smoker
- Are pregnant
- Are being prescribed other medicines
